If they would have simply tested the digital antenna in a wind tunnel at 5 mph, they would have abandoned this stupid proposal for the digital conversion after they realized that most of signal remains 98% scrambled. I think anybody who gets a Nelson's T.V. rating guide, should record the number of times they lose signal. Let the networks fix the signal strength problem when it hits them in the pocketbook with lost ratings.

Just get a converter box is not good enough for most people now. Most people are finding that they will now need an amped antenna and many more than expected will now need a roof antenna. February is a rough time to find that you need a roof antenna in the Northern states. You need a much stronger signal to get anything watchable with DTV. And if you are using a converter box your picture will not be better.

are you guys going to be one of the retards that are transmitting digital now on UHF but plan to switch back to VHF digital after feb. 18 2009? so people like me who just got a UHF antenna will be screwed. thanks when did you plan to tell people this. retards
